Assistant Manager Maintenance - Pune Location

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations of the organization, ensuring optimal equipment performance, reducing downtime, and improving overall efficiency. This role requires a strategic and hands-on approach to maintenance management, with a focus on cost-effective solutions and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Develop and Implement Maintenance Strategies: Create and execute maintenance plans, schedules, and procedures to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

2. Manage Maintenance Team: Supervise, train, and evaluate maintenance personnel, including technicians, mechanics, and contractors.

3. Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage maintenance budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

4. Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Oversee routine maintenance, repairs, and replacements of equipment, machinery, and facilities.

5. Quality and Safety Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, regulations, and company policies.

6. Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving:Investigate and resolve equipment failures, production disruptions, and other maintenance-related issues.

7. Inventory Management: Manage maintenance inventory, including spare parts, supplies, and equipment.

8. Reporting and Analytics: Provide regular maintenance reports, metrics, and analytics to stakeholders.

9. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, productivity, and equipment reliability.

1. Strong leadership and management skills.

2. Strong Knoweldge in Welding Process (MIG,Resistance,etc),Yaskawa Robot ,Jig,PLC,etc

3. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

4. Proficient in maintenance management software (e.g., CMMS, ERP).

5. Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO,IATF).

6. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
