Hvac Draughtsman

The HVAC Draughtsman will be responsible for creating detailed and accurate technical drawings and layouts for HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, and equipment placement. This role requires expertise in HVAC design and drafting, preparation of BOQs, and development of as-built drawings. The draughtsman will collaborate closely with clients, consultants, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs meet technical requirements and project timelines. Additionally, the draughtsman will be responsible for measuring and quantifying systems and preparing detailed fabrication drawings for project execution.

Design and Drafting

• Develop and detail HVAC system designs, including ductwork, piping, and equipment layouts.
• Prepare as-built drawings and ensure accuracy as per the site conditions.
• Create and update Bill of Quantity (BOQ) for HVAC systems based on project requirements.
• Design duct layouts with precise air distribution calculations to meet project specifications.

Technical Detailing

• Prepare detailed drawings for HVAC typical systems, including HEPA filters, risers, heater plenums, duct construction, grills, and diffusers.
• Draft HVAC zoning layouts incorporating airflow, system pressure, and classification.
• Create RCP layouts detailing HEPA, risers, light fixtures, diffusers, and grills as per room data sheets.
• Develop detailed P&ID drawings, VRV piping layouts, and manifold systems.

Coordination and Collaboration

• Coordinate HVAC, electrical, and cleanroom partition drawings to ensure seamless integration.
• Consult with project managers, consultants, and technical directors to align designs with project goals.
• Attend client and consultant meetings to understand and incorporate feedback.

Site Measurements and Fabrication Support

• Measure HVAC and electrical systems to ensure precision in installations.
• Design and review HVAC equipment placement, including drain piping layouts.
• Create fabrication drawings for final approval and submission to stakeholders.
