Team Lead - Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (5-10 yrs)

Position Overview :

As an AI/ML Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of AI and machine learning models and solutions. You will lead a team of talented data scientists, engineers, and analysts, ensuring the successful delivery of AI/ML projects that meet our clients' needs. Your role will involve strategic planning, project management, and hands-on technical work.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a team of AI/ML engineers and data scientists, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

- Define and execute the AI/ML strategy in alignment with company goals and objectives.

- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of AI/ML projects, from ideation to deployment and maintenance.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, software engineers, and business stakeholders, to identify and prioritize AI/ML opportunities.

- Develop and implement best practices for AI/ML model development, testing, and deployment.

- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and incorporate them into projects as appropriate.

- Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of AI/ML solutions.

- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.

- Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders at various levels.

Qualifications :

- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.

- Proven experience in leading AI/ML teams and projects, with a strong track record of successful deliveries.

- Expertise in machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.

- Strong understanding of statistical analysis, data mining, and data visualization techniques.

- Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.

- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, or reinforcement learning.

- Knowledge of MLOps practices and tools.

- Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.

- Contributions to the AI/ML community through publications, open-source projects, or conference presentation
