L3 Technical Support Engineer (7-15 yrs)

Job Description

- Maintain RHEL Server environments and Openshift clusters, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.

- Configure and manage RHEL and Kubernetes Cluster in Openshift environment, optimizing resource utilization and performance.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to RHEL applications and infrastructure.

- Develop and maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and procedures related to RHEL and Openshift deployments.

- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in bringing innovative solutions to the team.

- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automating application deployment and updates.

- Ability to handle L3 operations and escalations.

Technical Skills :

- Hands on experience on RHEL (Redhat Enterprise Linux).

- Proven experience as an RedHat certified Engineer or similar role, with a strong track record in managing and troubleshooting RHEL environments.

- Deep understanding of RHEL basics and Openshift architecture including deployment strategies and administration.

- Solid understanding of Linux operating systems, networking, and security principles.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills, enabling seamless teamwork and knowledge.

- Relevant certifications in Redhat are added advantage.

Qualification Required :

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.

- Red Hat certification (RHCE) preferred, demonstrating your mastery of Red Hat technologies and. solutions.

- Behavioral Competency.

- Have good attention to detail and accuracy.

- Be able to engage with customers and to identify theirtrue needs (beyond problems presented);managing expectations.

- Proactive and self-managing: able to initiate and plan new work, and carry on job duties and meet. timeframes without direct supervision.

- Willing to approach undefined problems with innovation, creativity and adaptability.
