Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to join our team in the furniture industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products meets customer expectations, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. This role involves Implementing ISO system requirements, Handling Inline inspection teams, identifying defects, and implementing corrective actions to prevent quality issues.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure regular inspections of products at various stages of production to ensure compliance with quality standards.
2. Identify and document defects, non-conformities, and areas for improvement.
3. Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes and procedures.
4. Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and provide guidance on quality standards.
5. Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
6. Develop and maintain quality metrics and reports (e.g., defect rate, quality score).
7. Conduct audits to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
8. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
9. Work closely with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
10. Provide training to production staff on quality procedures and standards.
11. Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, tests, and certifications.
12. Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum 0-4 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the furniture industry.
3. Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
4. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ANSI/BIFMA, IS Standards for Furnitures).
5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
8. Proficient in MS Office and Google sheets.
Desirable Skills:
1. Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt).
2. Experience with lean manufacturing principles.
3. Knowledge of furniture design and manufacturing processes (pre-lam, Metal, Sofa & Solid wood).
4. Certification in quality auditing (e.g., ISO 9001).
Work Environment:
1. Manufacturing environment with frequent walking, standing, and supervising quality processes.
2. May require occasional travel to suppliers or customer sites.
3. This role required 6 days working (Monday - Saturday) in the Plant since its manufacturing Unit.
