Role & Responsibilities Restaurant Cashier

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service.
• Handle cash, credit, and digital payments accurately and efficiently.
• Process orders, generate bills, and issue receipts.
• Maintain a clean and organized cash counter.
• Assist with order-related inquiries and resolve payment issues.
• Keep track of daily cash transactions and prepare reports.
• Work closely with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow all safety, hygiene, and financial policies of the restaurant.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in a cashier or customer service role preferred.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems and digital payments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Honest, reliable, and able to handle cash responsibly.
