We are looking for an experienced product leader with a proven track record of delivering complex internet products at scale to lead the product team at Hoi.

The Product Head will connect product strategy with overall business goals, manage the product development lifecycle, and ensure that products fill customer and market demands.

She/He will also be responsible to ensure product success, establishing the strategic direction of the product range, leading a team of product managers and designers, and working with other functions/stakeholders to build a successful product-centric business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Developing and communicating a compelling product vision aligned with the company's long-term goals.

- Formulating and executing strategies to achieve the product vision.

- Contributing to the business strategy and ensuring that the plan is realistic and shared with the product people of the team.

- Managing all aspects of the product lifecycle, including conception, development, launch, and continuing upkeep.

- Defining and prioritizing features based on market trends, customer feedback, and business priorities.

- Cooperating and collaborating with other teams, including marketing, sales, engineering, and design to ensure seamless product development.

- Conducting market research to identify the threats and trends and use that data to make informed decisions about the product's direction.

- Setting up data-centric decision-making processes concerning the product strategy and product roadmap.

- Leading and inspiring a team of product managers, designers, and developers, and providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure a high-performing and motivated team.

- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the product team.

- Developing a clear and strategic roadmap, ensuring that the roadmap aligns with business priorities and customer needs.

- Managing budgets related to product development and ensuring optimal allocation of resources.

- Communicating product strategies, updates, and performance to stakeholders, including executives and investors.

Key requirements:

- A degree in Business or Engineering at the Bachelor's or Master's level is required.

- Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of successfully leading and motivating teams.

- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal in the English language to communicate with management and senior management as well as with employees and colleagues.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.

- High-level motivational skills to manage the product team, comprising product managers, designers, and analysts.

- Strong collaboration skills, working effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, engineering, and design.

- The Product Head role involves travel, encompassing visits to customers, engagement with stakeholders, participation in roadshows, attendance at trade fairs, involvement in press events, and interactions with analysts.

Qualification: BE/B.Tech./ME/M.Tech from a recognized institute. Required MBA from a recognized institute Preferred.

Experience:

- At least 10 years of experience in product management, in (across) tech-first, scaled (Series B+ investment).

- Has experience of having been a product leader for 3+ years.

- Has experience of managing teams >= 6 team members, comprising of product managers and designers.

- Has a proven and demonstrable track record of shipping quality product.
