Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staffing Specialist to join our Human Resources team. The Staffing Specialist will be responsible for managing the recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires. This role requires strong communication skills, a keen eye for talent, and the ability to work collaboratively with hiring managers to meet staffing needs effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Sourcing:
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for various positions.
Utilize job boards, social media, networking, and other sourcing methods to identify potential candidates.
Candidate Screening and Assessment:
Review resumes and applications to identify suitable candidates for open positions.
Conduct initial phone screenings and interviews to assess candidates' qualifications and fit for the role.
Collaboration with Hiring Managers:
Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
Provide guidance on candidate selection and assist in the interview process.
Onboarding and Orientation:
Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters and conducting orientation sessions.
Ensure a smooth transition for new employees into the organization.
Database Management:
Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure accurate records of candidates and recruitment activities.
Track recruitment metrics and provide reports to management on hiring progress and outcomes.
Employer Branding:
Promote the company s employer brand through various channels, including social media and career fairs.
Engage with potential candidates to create a positive impression of the organization.
Compliance and Best Practices:
Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in staffing and recruitment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in recruitment or staffing.
Strong understanding of sourcing techniques and candidate assessment methods.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
