Our Indian Operations Centre (INOPC) is a competence center with around 2600+ skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, functional system testing, installation supervision, and commissioning. Over the last decade, INOPC has evolved to become the largest engineering hub serving more than 40 countries across different energy sectors. The team caters to the four business units Transformers, Grid Integration, Grid Automation, High Voltage and has successfully executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries. Hitachi Energy HVDC: HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) and HVDC Light are highly efficient alternatives for transmitting bulk power and for special purpose applications. The classic HVDC technology is used to transmit electric power over long distances by overhead transmission lines or submarine cables. It is also used to interconnect separate power systems, where traditional alternating current (AC) connections cannot be used. HVDC Light is an underground and submarine cable power transmission technology developed by Hitachi Energy that offers additional benefits compared to HVDC Classic.

HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. It is also used to connect power systems. Your responsibilities:

• Assess technical specification requirements for projects, evaluate risks and identify mitigation plans for SCADA/DCS and related functions.

• Perform hardware, software, system installation and designing of HVDC SCADA/DCS.

• Design a communication network which complies Cyber Security standards.

• Be a part of testing, installations, and commissioning activities during FST and at site.

• Produce documents such as Operational Manuals, Backup and Restore procedures, ITI, ITR for FAT, SAT, and other project related documents.

Your background:

• Aspired Electrical or Electronic Engineer experience from 2 to 4years in Substation Automation SCADA MI, with strong knowledge on IT - Cyber security concepts.

• You should have hands on experience of Substation automation and communication systems.

• You should have knowledge on SCADA/HMI Engineering software such as InTouch, MicroSCADA etc.

• Experience in Intrusion detection, Router and firewall configuration, Domain controller configuration, Patch management WSUS concept.

• Knowledge on communication protocol - IEC 61850 , IEC 60870 - 5-101, 104, Modbus etc.

• Self-initiative who could own the task throughout completion.

• Strong attention to details.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
