Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Vice President of Product to lead our product strategy and execution, with a strong emphasis on customer-facing initiatives. This role is ideal for a leader who is passionate about understanding customer needs, driving user-centric design, and delivering products that enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and articulate a comprehensive product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business goals, with a focus on customer-facing solutions.
- Customer-Centric Focus: Champion the voice of the customer by incorporating feedback, market trends, and user behavior into the product development lifecycle.
- Product Innovation: Identify and capitalize on opportunities to create new features, functionalities, and services that elevate the customer experience.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to ensure seamless delivery of products that meet business and customer needs.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data insights, analytics, and customer feedback to measure product performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing product management team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.
- Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate product strategies, progress, and outcomes to internal and external stakeholders, including the executive leadership team.
- Market Awareness: Stay abreast of market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies to ensure our products remain differentiated and valuable.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years in leadership roles focused on customer-facing products.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling customer-centric products in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of user experience design principles and customer journey mapping.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data analysis, metrics definition, and product performance evaluation.
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
- MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Expertise in [industry-specific customer-facing technology, e.g.,e-commerce systems, consumer apps].
- Hands-on experience with tools like A/B testing platforms, analytics software, and customer feedback systems.
