Who We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate should be/have:
- Highly skilled and proficient in scaling up Organic Youtube channels and partnering with influencers, micro-influencers, creators etc.
- Proven track record of achieving results in scaling up B2C Youtube channels organically via content led marketing.
- 5+ years of experience in working with high growth startups (who have built businesses basis Youtube content), leading influencers, high growth youtube channels.
- Expertise in conceptualizing and managing diverse video formats (e.g., tutorials, explainer videos, and storytelling formats).
- Very clear understanding of Youtube algorithms to improve views, engagement and virality.
- Past exposure in content writing, script writing, video creations/editing would be a plus.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities and a hands-on approach.
- A hustler with high problem solving ability, knack of working in 0 to 1 set-ups, with the ability to build, inspire, and manage high-performing teams.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong bias for execution and results.
- Tier 1 graduation school preferred.
What You'll Do:-
- In true startup fashion, you'll wear multiple hats and take ownership of key initiatives.
Your responsibilities include:
Strategic Leadership, Planning and Execution:
- Take responsibility for achieving targets in line with the annual operating plan (AOP) for organic Youtube channel.
- Strategize and execute campaigns on Youtube to increase subscribers, views, engagement among the target segment, eventually resulting into increase in business objectives (qualified leads, meetings, bookings).
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with brand objectives.
- Create a content calendar and plan video topics, formats, and posting schedules.
- Close coordination with content team for building concepts, scripts for videos.
- Managing team for getting videos shot, editing and executing as per posting schedule on Youtube.
Video Optimization:
- Optimize video titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails for SEO and audience engagement.
- Close coordination with SEO team is required for this. Understanding of Youtube SEO is essential.
- Analyze performance metrics to refine and improve video strategies.
Audience Engagement:
- Conduct audience research to understand preferences and trends.
- Coordination with ORM team to ensure proper response to comments is done within set SLAs, fostering a sense of community.
Channel Growth:
- Implement strategies to grow subscribers, increase video views and virality.
- Collaborate with influencers, micro-influencers, creators, and partners to expand reach.
Team Leadership:
- Build and lead a high-performing Youtube organic team.
- Collaborate across teams (marketing, content, SEO, sales) to optimize messaging, scripts, shoots and outcomes.
- Mentor and guide team members to achieve peak performance.
Budget & Analytics:
- Track channel analytics using tools like YouTube Studio, Google Analytics, etc.
- Provide regular performance reports and actionable insights.
- Build organic youtube channel to deliver qualified leads, meetings which translate into bookings for the sales team.
- Manage budgets allocated to Youtube organic channel with precision, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to meet business goals.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, measure campaign effectiveness, and derive actionable insights.
Optimization & Innovation:
- Identify tools and technologies for new organic content led marketing to stay ahead of trends.
- Continuously monitor competitor activities and emerging trends in demand generation from Youtube channel.
