Manager - Sales and Marketing (Engineering Division)

Role & responsibilities

1. Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to promote ECK Haubold and Laxmi products across the steel industry in India.

2. Identify and establish relationships with key decision-makers in steel plants, mills, and related industries.

3. Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiations and closing.

4. Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive activity, and adjust sales tactics accordingly.

5. Work closely with the product and R&D teams to align customer requirements with product offerings.

6. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients, showcasing the value proposition of ECK Haubold and Laxmi products.

7. Lead marketing initiatives such as trade shows, industry conferences, and digital campaigns to increase brand visibility and product awareness.

8. Ensure customer satisfaction through regular follow-ups, addressing concerns, and providing after-sales support.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong understanding of the steel industry, including market dynamics, key players, and customer needs.
• Proven track record in sales and marketing, with at least 7-12 years of experience in a similar role.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client relationships and projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on results.
• Self-motivated with a drive to exceed sales targets.
