The Manager of Sales & Marketing will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring marketing strategies to promote the organisations products or services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop marketing strategies:
The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing marketing strategies that align with the organisations overall objectives. Should research market trends, identify target audiences and develop campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
Manage marketing campaigns:
The Marketing Manager will oversee the implementation of marketing campaigns across various channels both online and offline, such as social media, email, advertising, and events. Working with cross-functional teams to ensure that campaigns are executed on time and within budget to get the desired results.
Analyse market and competitor data:
TheMarketing Manager will conduct market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and the competitive landscape. Will analyse data to gain insights into customer behaviour, identify areas of improvement, and develop strategies to differentiate the organisation from competitors.
Manage budgets:
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing the marketing budget and allocating resources to various initiatives. Will monitor expenses and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
Build relationships with stakeholders:
The Marketing Manager will build and maintains relationships with key stakeholders, such as vendors, media outlets, and industry influencers. Will collaborate with these stakeholders to develop co- marketing opportunities and increase brand visibility.
Manage team members:
The Marketing Managerwill oversee the work of marketing team members, such as marketing coordinators and graphic designers and content creators. Will provide guidance and feedback to ensure that team members meet performance expectations and develop their skills.
Monitor and report on marketing metrics:
The Marketing Manager tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. They report on KPIs to senior management and use the data to adjust marketing strategies as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
Masters Degree in Marketing or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in marketing or sales.
Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills are essential. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and techniques.
