Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer with expertise in Python to design, develop, and execute automated test solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with automation frameworks, and the ability to ensure quality across various software projects.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable automation frameworks using Python.

- Enhance and optimize existing frameworks for improved performance and reliability.

- Analyze requirements to create detailed test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing.

- Execute automated test scripts and document issues with detailed logs and evidence.

- Integrate Python-based automation tools (e.g., Pytest, Robot Framework) with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, or similar tools.

- Debug and resolve issues related to test scripts or automation tools.

- Work with cross-functional teams to establish quality standards and testing strategies.

- Generate and share detailed test results, dashboards, and reports with stakeholders.

- Stay current with the latest developments in Python automation testing and adopt innovative tools and methodologies.

Desired Skills and Experience :

- Proficient in Python programming and its libraries (e.g., Selenium, Pytest, Robot Framework).

- Experience in testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman or frameworks such as Requests or RestAssured.

- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo).

- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle processes.

- Hands-on experience in functional, regression, and integration testing.

- Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or Locust is a plus.

- Exposure to cloud-based testing environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.

- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

- Capability to work independently and within a team environment.
