Job Description
- Professional experience with WordPress, PHP5 and MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, and jQuery.
- Develop WordPress plugins and/or themes primarily using PHP.
- Should have good knowledge on developing custom post-types & taxonomies independently Should have worked with Theme Frameworks like Divi, Genesis, Themify, etc.
- Customizing WordPress user interfaces and functionality to make an admin interface that is enjoyable and approachable for non-technical users to manage their website. Should have a subtle knowledge on Payment gateway Integration (Stripe, authorize.net & PayPal is a must) & various popular shipping gateways.
- Have extensive experience with WooCommerce and be comfortable developing customized workflows and offering qualified opinions about how best to use WooCommerce in various situations.
- Creation of custom files and plugins/widgets written to conform with WordPress coding standards. Creation of logical, well-documented, and reusable code.
- Abilty to create new user roles, deploying WordPress security, managing backups & performing On-Page SEO.
- Test solutions across multiple browsers and platforms in a local the testing environment Experience working under version control environments Git or BitBucket would be a bonus but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development, performance, and security Solve complex problems in simple ways.
