React.js Developer (3-6 yrs)

Job Description :

You will :

- Write high quality, maintainable and clean code.

- Take ownership of the correctness of your work both in terms of functional and usability.

- Apply the best practices of software development when it comes to SCM, managing issues and most importantly, documenting your work.

- Keep upto date with industry best practices and new developments, and advocate for their adoption whenever applicable.

- Work with the support team to triage and resolve issues with/without the assistance of other team members.

- Identify performance issues by effectively using DevTools.

- Be able to guide junior engineers on best practices and provide clear guidance and feedback during technical design discussions and code reviews.

We are looking for someone who has/is :

- 3 years of experience in building web applications with the main focus on React.

- Proficient in Javascript and React, including in-depth understanding of the language, framework and performance aspects.

- Excellent knowledge of modern CSS and familiarity with pre-processing tools like LESS and SASS.

- Experience integrating complex APIs.

- Familiarity with best practices on the web in terms of technology and UI/UX.

- The ability to communicate clearly in a verbal and written manner.

Good to have :

- Prior experience in a high growth startup.

- Familiarity with React Native.

- Familiar with design tools like Figma and a good understanding of design.
