Location: Gurgaon HQ with frequent travel to rural areas
Position Summary: Drive the most ambitious agenda for Haleon - Geo Expansion in Rural markets and Access agenda to help deliver Health in more hands. The Rural Activation Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing brand presence, consumer engagement, and activation strategies for rural markets to achieve household penetration in rural markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rural Marketing & Activation: Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute localized campaigns, ensure effective activations to generate trials for our brands.
- Work closely with regional sales team, agencies, and activation team to drive impactful activations to build superior brands in the rural markets.
- Campaigns and engagements: Plan and design rural specific campaigns such as events, fairs/ roadshows, and product demonstrations to be implemented with support of the local/ regional teams.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor the effectiveness of rural activations through defined KPIs. Analyse RoI of campaigns and continually improve future initiatives/ investments.
- Prepare and present reports on campaign outcomes while analysing customer/ consumer trends.
- KPI Management: Responsible for all KPIs like Household penetration, Trials, topline delivery, A&P spends.
Key Competencies:
- Strong understanding of rural markets and sales dynamics.
- Analytical skills to derive insights from market data.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Exposure into brand building / marketing
Qualifications:
- Bachelors/masters degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field from Tier 1 or Tier 2 Colleges.
- 8-10 years of experience in FMCG sales, with at least 3 years in rural sales management, marketing, and/or activation.
- Willingness to travel extensively to rural areas.
