Role & responsibilities:

• Research and interpret complex changes in federal and state tax laws, analyzing their implications for our tax products.
• Collaborate with developers to translate tax law changes into logical calculations.
• Mentor and manage a team of tax analysts, fostering their professional development and ensuring timely delivery of deliverables.
• Communicate effectively with US and Indian leadership teams, providing clear and concise updates on tax initiatives and progress.
• Develop and implement strategies to minimize delivery turn-around time, while maintaining quality.
• Prepare and review complex tax calculations and ensure maximum coverage for the tests.
• Stay current on the latest tax trends and developments through ongoing research and professional development activities.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of US individual taxation and Form 1040.
• Proven ability to research and interpret complex tax laws.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in mentoring and guiding team members.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Basic understanding of software development concepts.
