AEM Sites Developer

Role & responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain AEM Sites functionalities to meet business requirements.
• Design and develop reusable components and templates using HTL (Sightly).
• Work with content authors to understand their needs and translate them into effective AEM configurations.
• Manage content structure, including taxonomy, metadata, and workflows.
• Utilize JCR (Java Content Repository) for content management and querying.
• Leverage the Query Builder API to efficiently retrieve and manipulate content.
• Collaborate with designers, front-end developers, and other team members to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest AEM features and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience developing and maintaining websites using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites.
• Solid understanding of AEM architecture, including OSGi, Sling, and Oak.
• Experience with HTL (Sightly) for templating and component development.
• Working knowledge of content management principles and best practices.
• Experience with content structure management, including taxonomy and metadata.
• Familiarity with JCR and the ability to query content using the Query Builder API.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
