Role Overview: As the Growth Manager at Uolo, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's expansion across India by leading key growth initiatives.
This managerial position requires a blend of strategic thinking, operational execution, and cross-functional collaboration to accelerate user acquisition, retention, and engagement.
You will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, optimizing existing programs, and scaling Uolo's presence in new markets while building and leading a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Growth Strategy Development:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy to drive user acquisition and retention for Uolo's mobile app among K-12 students, parents, and schools.
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and data insights to identify high-impact growth opportunities.
- Lead the creation and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns focused on scaling Uolo's presence in both existing and new markets.
Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead a high-performing growth team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to drive their success in meeting KPIs and growth targets.
- Foster a collaborative team environment where creativity, data-driven decisions, and innovation thrive.
- Set clear goals, define success metrics, and monitor the team's progress to ensure performance is aligned with overall company objectives.
Partnership and Stakeholder Management:
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including school administrators, educators, and parents to enhance Uolo's growth.
- Build and manage strategic partnerships to expand Uolo's reach and impact across regions and schools.
- Work closely with the product, content, and marketing teams to tailor growth initiatives and programs to the needs of target audiences.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Use analytics and customer data to track the effectiveness of growth initiatives and make recommendations for optimization.
- Continuously test and iterate on strategies, ensuring a robust feedback loop for continuous improvement.
- Provide regular updates on growth metrics, user engagement, and revenue impacts to senior leadership.
Program Optimization:
- Identify opportunities to optimize Uolo's existing programs and ensure they meet the evolving needs of students, parents, and schools.
- Enhance user experience through innovation in program delivery, features, and functionality within the mobile app.
- Collaborate with the product team to ensure the platform meets the demands of scale and user satisfaction.
Key Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in growth marketing, product growth, or business development, preferably in an ed-tech or B2C environment.
- Proven track record of driving user acquisition, engagement, and retention at scale.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in using analytics tools and platforms to measure and optimize growth performance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Passion for education and a deep understanding of the K-12 ecosystem in India is a plus.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in building and scaling digital products, especially mobile apps.
- Expertise in digital marketing, customer acquisition strategies, and performance marketing.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
