Grid Dynamics - Product Owner (3-5 yrs)

TEAM/DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION: We build and deliver consumer facing credit products for our partners designed to increase engagement activity between our partners and their end consumer.

Our products are designed to educate consumers on their credit history, credit scores, and encourage them to proactively monitor for change over time.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: (daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly).

- Building numerous solutions and APIs for the credit industry and direct-to-consumer products and is looking for someone with a passion for building services and capabilities that power and ensure exceptional experiences within the credit ecosystem of internal/external clients, partners, and developers.

- We are also reinvigorating existing products and are looking to market, enhance, re-launch, and grow the existing suite of solutions.

- We are currently seeking an experienced Product Owner to support, manage and bring our new and improved partner platform to life.

- The primary goal of the new platform is to lower turnaround time for our partners to be in-market live with our products and services.

- The ideal candidate will have a strong drive for results, interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and be comfortable managing and coordinating cross functional teams.

- You must have a strong knowledge of Agile methodology and business acumen to prioritize competing user stories.

- In addition, you should have strong organizational and planning skills with a consistent track record for delivering commitments on time.

- You will work in a fast paced, high communication environment where collaboration with scrum master, product management, design team, quality assurance and development teams is key to your day-to-day success.

Responsibilities include:

- Partner with cross-functional teams to build, prioritize and define workflows and requirements.

- Prioritize feature/story backlog.

- Document product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and non-functional requirements to provide a clear understanding for development teams.

- Lead and/or write stories for scrum teams.

- Review and sign off on completed user stories by analyzing test cases.

- Translate business requirements into technical specifications.

- Ability to read request response JSONs / XMLs key for success in this role.

- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal stakeholders (product manager, project managers, sales, designers, developers, quality analysts, scrum master, and other business partners) - ability to translate between these constituencies.

- Ability to shepherd products through the development process, advocating to achieve the best outcomes.

- Work closely with development teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality products on time.

- Participate in release planning, including prioritization of features, sprint planning, and coordination of cross-team dependencies.

- Solid grasp of technology and data infrastructure across a heavily regulated environment.

- Demonstrated understanding of Agile methodologies.

- Experience with JIRA and Confluence.

- Lead discussions with cross-functional teams to develop system requirements.

- Refine and document requirements, tracking them across development, testing, and deployment.

- Maintain high quality documentation.

- Drive project execution and proactively report on project progress, risks, and blockers.

- Create process flows for business procedures and assess potential enhancements.

- Communicate delivery plan status update on key initiatives to senior leadership.

WHAT YOUR BACKGROUND LOOKS LIKE:.

- Advanced knowledge of Financial Services industry.

- Advanced knowledge of the Credit Ecosystem.

- Ability to lead, drive consensus and delivery plan in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders.

- 3+ years' experience with software or technology product management and/or development.

- 3+ years' experience with Agile development methodologies.

- 3+ years' experience managing product and/or platform APIs as a product through the full life cycle.

- Can individually influence those around them and garner support for recommendations and priorities.

- Experience working with both product and technology teams, to ensure correct use/build of services.

- Ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly and understand how to drive a high level of focus and excellence with a strong, talented, opinionated team.

- Strong ability to translate product needs to technology and understand technology.

- Familiar with Agile/Scrum ways of working.

- Including tools like Jira and Confluence.
