Market Intelligence Analyst

Role and Responsibilities

• Analyse potential market and product gaps across the company's new and existing portfolio along with value added products
• Gather information on competitors, and conduct analysis on their sales, prices and methods of distribution and marketing to thoroughly learn about the competition
• Use best-practice qualitative/quantitative research methods to collect quality data and generate transformative insights around industry and customer outlook
• Work with the aim to develop market intelligence capability for different business lines by consistently managing their needs on market, competitor, and industry insights
• Demonstrate the ability to articulate and present key actionable market and competitor insights to the management team using modern visualization tools/excel/power point
• Build strong working relation with a diverse range of stakeholders internally and externally

Qualifications Requirements

• Over 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in consulting, across market & business intelligence covering relevant topics such as market analysis, industry trends and outlook, competitive analysis, innovation & technology trends, new products and services research
• High degree of importance on numeric ability, initiative, and the willingness to take ownership of work and projects
• Strong articulator with the proven ability to interact, consult with and professionally influence senior management
• Ability to work with wide array of platforms including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; to be able to provide insights in most user-friendly format
• Research experience in Telecom industry - services and infrastructure - is highly preferred

EDUCATION Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Economics, or a related field
• MBA or equivalent masters degree in business administration or Economics or Statistics
