Department: Blue Mantis. Location: Remote. Description. Blue Mantis is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer. As the ServiceNow Developer, you'll be responsible for working with our internal teams and our clients, helping to create solutions oversight, direction and management for platform related tasks and multiple development projects of varying degrees of complexity
Responsibilities. Develop, configure, and customize the ServiceNow platform to fit business requirements
Configuration Management (CMDB). Administration of Knowledge Base and Service Catalog. Configure application related fields, forms, views, email notifications, acceptance roles and access controls
Integrate ServiceNow application(s) with third party systems/applications via APIs
Provides input to staff involved in writing and updating technical documentation such as user manuals
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements
Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code requires expertise to achieve
Code reviews and quality control checks should be undertaken as part of every project to guarantee maximum efficiency and productivity
Debugging and fixing technical problems. Producing and running test cases to guarantee software quality
Documenting code and application functionality. Staying abreast of emerging trends and technologies in ServiceNow development ensures your success
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise. Graduation/Post-Graduation in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is necessary
With 7+ years of experience in ServiceNow development
Proficiency with ServiceNow development, such as scripting, workflows, and integrations
Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall is desirable
Gain familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) processes
Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities
Excellent communication and collaboration
