Job Description
- Audit Planning and Coordination:
- Develop and execute the annual statutory audit plan in conjunction with the statutory auditor.
- Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary information and documentation.
- Manage audit timelines and ensure adherence to statutory deadlines.
- Financial Statement Preparation:
- Prepare accurate and complete financial statements in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
- Ensure proper reconciliation of accounts and supporting documentation.
- Review financial statements for compliance with statutory requirements.
- Audit Finalization:
- Coordinate with the statutory auditor to resolve audit findings and queries.
- Prepare and review audit working papers and schedules.
- Assist in the preparation of audit reports and management letters.
- Ensure timely submission of audited financial statements to regulatory authorities.
- Internal Financial Controls:
- Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of internal financial controls.
- Identify and recommend improvements to internal control processes.
- Prepare internal control reports and documentation.
- Prepare internal control reports and documentation.
- Implement and monitor corrective actions for identified control weaknesses.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay updated with relevant accounting standards, auditing standards, and statutory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and listing requirements.
- Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to address regulatory matters.
