Shift Fitter Job Description:

1. Equipment Inspection (Line Walk): Conduct daily plant rounds to identify and address machinery abnormalities.
2. Preventive Maintenance: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance of all plant machinery.
3. Critical Spares/Consumables Management: Maintain a list of critical spares and consumables, ensure timely requisition and follow-up.
4. Mechanical Breakdown Response: Address and resolve mechanical breakdowns promptly during the shift.
5. VFS/Packing Machine Operation and Maintenance: Operate and maintain VFS (Vertical Form Fill Seal) /Pouch filling packing machines. Troubleshoot and resolve malfunctions to ensure continuous operation.
6. CLIT Implementation: Implement and ensure adherence to CLIT (Cleaning, Inspection, Lubrication & tightening).
7. RO & Boiler Maintenance: Perform mechanical maintenance on Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems and boilers.
8. Leakage Arresting: Address and repair air, steam, and material leakage promptly.
9. Assisting with Machine Operations: Assist in the operation of boilers, VFS, and RO machines as required.
10. Critical Defect Resolution: to and resolve any critical defects in plant machinery.
11. Upgrades and Modifications: Support new machinery upgrades and modifications to improve plant efficiency.
12. Safety-Related Works: Carry out tasks related to safety improvements and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
