Goalreify Ventures - Senior Unreal Engine Developer - C++ Programming (5-6 yrs)

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Lead and contribute to the development of compelling games using Unreal Engine 4 or 5.

- Work closely with design, art, and production teams to ensure seamless integration and creation of a cohesive game experience.

- Architect, implement, and optimize core game systems, including:

- Gameplay mechanics

- AI

- User Interface (UI)

- Other core game systems

- Profile and optimize game performance for both PC and console platforms, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all players.

- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers, fostering their growth within the team.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Unreal Engine.

- This includes mastering new tools, features, and best practices.

Requirements :

- 5+ years of professional experience in game development

- Strong proficiency in Unreal Engine 4 or 5 (experience with both is a plus)

- Hands-on experience with Unreal Engine's Gameplay Ability System (GAS) and Lyra Starter Game

- Expertise in C++ programming and the ability to create efficient and scalable Blueprints within Unreal Engine

- Deep understanding of game architecture, physics, rendering, and optimization techniques

- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or Perforce

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate across various teams
