Job Description

Strategic Leadership and Operations Management:
  • Lead and oversee the overall operations and strategic direction of the companys freight forwarding activities within the country.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to achieve growth targets and enhance market presence.
  • Provide leadership to ensure the seamless execution of logistics and supply chain solutions.
Client Engagement and Business Development:
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their logistics needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the companys client base and revenue streams.
  • Collaborate with the global sales team to align business development efforts with overall corporate objectives.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team, providing clear direction and fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and finance, to ensure integrated and efficient business processes.
  • Mentor and develop staff, promoting continuous learning and professional growth.
Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Stay informed about local and international regulations affecting freight forwarding and ensure full compliance.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to address challenges related to customs, transportation, and other logistical aspects.
Financial Management:
  • Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and forecasting for the country operations.
  • Implement cost-effective measures and optimize resource allocation to achieve financial objectives.
Reporting and Performance Analysis:
  • Establish and maintain robust reporting mechanisms to track and analyze operational and financial performance.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and vendors.
  • Represent the company at industry events and forums, enhancing its reputation and visibility.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and service offerings.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices, applying relevant innovations to improve business processes.
Requirements

Proven track record with at least 3+ years ofexperience in logistics and sales, preferably in a key account management role.
Excellent communication and negotiation skillsto effectively interact with clients and internal teams.
Proficiency in logistics software and tools,including familiarity with supply chain management systems.
Strong problem-solving abilities and acustomer-focused mindset to address client challenges effectively
