Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced and creative Senior Video Editor to join our communications team. The ideal candidate will be a passionate storyteller who can craft powerful videos that highlight our campaigns, events, podcasts, and success stories.
This role requires a keen understanding of the social sector and the ability to produce emotionally compelling content that showcases the impact of Go Dharmic’s initiatives. The editor will work across platforms, from long-form YouTube videos and podcasts to short promotional reels for social media, ensuring our message resonates with a broad audience.

Key Responsibilities
Create emotionally engaging video content that highlights Go Dharmic’s campaigns, events, and real-life stories for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and our website.
Edit and produce Go Dharmic’s podcasts, ensuring clear audio, dynamic visuals, and engaging storytelling to maximize reach and impact.
Collaborate with campaign managers, social media teams, and graphic designers to develop compelling narratives that drive awareness, empathy, and action.
Transform raw footage into polished videos using advanced editing techniques, motion graphics, and visual storytelling tools.
Incorporate inspiring interviews, field footage, and real-life testimonials to showcase the human impact of our campaigns.
Adapt video content into short reels, teasers, and promotional clips for targeted social media campaigns.
Continuously explore innovative formats, effects, and video trends to increase engagement and promote our mission effectively.
Manage video assets, maintaining an organized library for quick access and team use.
Qualifications
Minimum 2+ years of professional video editing experience, preferably creating story-driven content in the social impact or humanitarian sector.
Proven expertise in editing for YouTube, podcasts, and multi-platform social media campaigns.
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and audio tools.
Strong storytelling ability, with experience crafting narratives that evoke emotion and inspire action.
Knowledge of incorporating motion graphics, text overlays, sound design, and color grading to enhance content quality.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
A passion for creating content that drives positive social change and aligns with Go Dharmic’s compassionate ethos.
Preferred Skills
Experience editing videos for NGOs, charities, or causes with a strong human impact focus.
Familiarity with podcast production, including editing audio, adding visual elements, and publishing across platforms.
Ability to optimize video content for audience engagement across platforms like YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging digital channels.
Creative mindset to adapt campaigns into short, shareable, and viral-worthy formats.
