Gloify - Java Software Engineer - Microservices Architecture/Spring Frameworks (3-5 yrs)

Role Overview :

We are looking for a dynamic and skilled Java Software Engineer to join our growing team.

In this role, you will be an integral part of the development team, working on innovative software solutions using Java, Microservices, and the Spring Framework.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, engage in design and development, and ensure that the delivered solutions meet high standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, test, and deploy high-performance Java-based applications with an emphasis on clean, maintainable code.

- Design, implement, and maintain microservices-based applications to support scalable, modular solutions.

- Leverage the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Data, to build and integrate services and components.

- Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other software engineers to deliver features that meet the needs of the business.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

- Act as a mentor to junior engineers, helping them grow in their technical abilities.

- Identify and solve complex problems, optimize system performance, and improve existing software components.

- Work within an Agile framework, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.

- Continuously explore and introduce new technologies, tools, and best practices to improve software development processes.

- Maintain proper technical documentation, follow coding standards, and ensure that the software is delivered with high quality and reliability.

- Experience : 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java software development, including the design and implementation of Java-based solutions.

Core Skills :

- Proficiency in Java programming language.

- Strong experience with Microservices architecture and Spring Framework, including Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.

- Knowledge of RESTful API development, message queues, and database management (SQL and NoSQL).

- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration with tools like Kubernetes.

- Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex systems.

- Education : Bachelor's / master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Methodology : Experience working in an Agile development environment.

- Version Control : Proficient in version control tools like Git and GitHub.

- Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
