Gloify - Senior Ruby on Rails Developer (5-8 yrs)

Role Description :

This is a full-time on-site role for a Ruby on Rails Developer with 5+Years experience located in Bengaluru. The Ruby on Rails Developer will be responsible for handling the back-end web development, front-end development, refactoring, and bug fixing. The Ruby on Rails Developer will also work on Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Model-View-Controller (MVC), and Test Driven Development.

Responsibilities :

- Write clean, maintainable and efficient code

- Design robust, scalable and secure features

- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle

- Follow best practices (test-driven development, continuous integration, SCRUM, refactoring and code standards)

- Drive continuous adoption and integration of relevant new technologies into design

Qualifications :

- Back-End Web Development skills, including Ruby and Ruby on Rails

- Front-end developments, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills

- Experience with Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture

- Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies

- Good understanding of PostgreSQL or any other databases

- Familiarity with AWS and deployment

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
