Globals Inc. - Vice President - Operations & Delivery (8-16 yrs)

About the role:

- The VP - Operations & Delivery will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the company, working closely with the CEO and other executives to develop and implement strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.

- The VP - Operations & Delivery will manage teams across various functions, including finance, marketing, HR, and operations, and will be responsible for ensuring that the company's day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently.

- The VP- Operations & Delivery should be well versed with Cybersecurity Solutions and Products and also with Digital Solutions such as Web & Mobile Applications Delivery.

Responsibilities:

a. Oversee day-to-day operations, including managing teams across various functions and ensuring that the company is operating efficiently and effectively.

b. Work closely with the CEO and other executives to develop and implement business strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.

c. Identify areas of the business where operational processes can be improved and develop and implement plans to optimize these processes.

d. Manage financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring that the company is operating within budgetary constraints.

e. Oversee HR and People Functions of Globals

f. Have a team of competent Techno-Functional people with strong P&L to implement support / do CR's or pilot new product lines.

g. Work closely with GTM, Founder to implement strong commercial profitability.

Own the P&L for large strategic customers of Globals

h. Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

i. Continuously improve software delivery processes and practices, driving efficiency and effectiveness across the software development lifecycle.

j. Monitor project progress, identifying and resolving issues that arise during the development process.

k. Meet with and manage relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring that their needs and requirements are understood and met. Step in to resolve any escalations as needed.

l. Identify and mitigate potential risks to the business, including developing and implementing risk management strategies.

m. Play a critical role in business development, including identifying new business opportunities, building partnerships, and expanding the company's reach.

n. Act as a key member of the leadership team, making critical decisions that impact the company's growth and success.

Requirements and Experience:

a. 12+ years of overall experience in Software Delivery with 10+ years of experience in software project management (preferably with experience in Cybersecurity Domain)

b. Experience managing distributed and remote engineering teams and working with large portfolio of diverse customers and a healthy account book.

c. Proven ability to keep customers engaged, happy and well-attended to - to ensure growth.

d. Commercially savvy and treats a healthy P&L as a top priority. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Project Management tools

e. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams to success.

f. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.

g. Experience working with clients and stakeholders, and managing relationships.

h. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong collaboration skills.

i. The Vice President - Operations & Delivery, is a key role within Globals, and requires a high level of technical expertise, project management skills, and leadership ability. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the successful management of a vast and varied portfolio of accounts with immense growth potential in these accounts.

j. Continuously ensuring that the software development process is efficient, effective, and delivers high-quality products that meet the needs of clients and stakeholders.

k. Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science (preferred B.E / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech) and Master's in Business Administration is good to have.
