We are currently hiring for Surgery Coder with minimum 1 Year of experience into Medical Coding.

Specialties :Surgery Coder & Surgery Auditor

Shift: Day

Location: Chennai

Key Responsibilities:

• Review operative reports and medical records to identify and assign accurate CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS codes for surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and healthcare staff to clarify coding discrepancies or incomplete documentation.
• Submit accurate surgical claims to insurance companies, ensuring timely and correct reimbursement.
• Stay updated on changes to coding guidelines, payer policies, and reimbursement procedures.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Perform coding audits to ensure compliance and accuracy of coding practices.
• Strong understanding of surgery-specific coding practices, anatomy, and terminology.
• Additional specialty coding certifications (e.g., CCS-P, COC) are a plus.
