Key Responsibilities: Design and develop electronic circuits for various applications, prioritizing factors such as power consumption, size, and cost. Create detailed schematics and comprehensive documentation using CAD software for electronic circuits and systems. Design and optimize printed circuit boards (PCBs) to ensure functionality and manufacturability, adhering to industry standards. Identify and select appropriate electronic components based on specifications, performance requirements, and cost considerations. Build and conduct tests on prototypes of electronic hardware to validate designs and identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement testing procedures to ensure electronic hardware meets quality and performance standards. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, firmware engineers, and mechanical engineers, to integrate electronic hardware into complete systems. Diagnose and resolve issues related to electronic hardware during development and after product release. Create and maintain detailed documentation such as design specifications, test plans, and engineering reports. Utilize strong knowledge of power electronics to enhance the design and functionality of electronic systems. Manage and lead the Electronics Development Team, ensuring efficient project execution and fostering a collaborative environment.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience of minimum 5 years in designing and developing electronic circuits and systems for commercial or industrial applications. Proficiency in CAD software for schematic design and PCB layout (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCAD). Strong understanding of electronic components and their specifications. Experience in designing for manufacturability and optimizing PCB designs. Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting electronic hardware. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to electronic hardware design. Leadership experience in managing a team is a must.
