An Opening For Logistics Head For Mumbai Location

Key Responsibilities:

1) Design and implement long-term strategies for logistics and supply chain management that align with the overall business objectives.

2) Ensure the most efficient and cost-effective methods are used for transportation, storage, and distribution of goods.

3) Create and manage budgets, focusing on minimizing costs while maintaining service levels.

4) Keep optimum stock levels by estimating market demand, sales forecast, production schedule and transit time.

5) Oversee transportation activities, ensuring that products are delivered on time and in good condition.

6) Ensure proper stock levels, storage, and movement of goods across various locations and warehouses.

7) Continuously analyze logistics and supply chain processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for Improvement.

8) Ensure that logistics operations are aligned with Sales Team with their needs and expectations, aiming for high levels of satisfaction.

9) Develop and maintain relationships with third-party logistics providers, transportation companies, and suppliers.

10) Negotiate contracts with logistics service providers and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.

11) Identify potential risks (e.g., supplier delays, transportation issues) and develop contingency plans.

12) Stay up to date with emerging logistics technologies in supply chain optimization.

13) Analyze logistics data and generate reports to provide insights on performance, cost analysis, and forecasting.
