Java Program Manager - Agile Methodologies (3-8 yrs)

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage the entire project lifecycle, from inception to delivery and post-implementation support.

- Handle multiple concurrent projects with varying complexities and timelines.

- Strong experience in managing fixed-budget projects, including budget estimation, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.

- Effectively handle client escalations, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong client relationships.

- Ensure adherence to SDLC and CMMi 5.0 (or CMMi 3) processes.

- Manage multiple clients and stakeholders effectively, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.

- Monitor and manage project KPIs, track profitability, and ensure projects are delivered within budget and timeline constraints.

- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of 50+ developers.

- Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.

- Experience in developing and delivering complex web applications and enterprise-grade applications.

- Strong understanding of J2EE technologies and open-source platforms.

- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including QA, HR, Sales, and Pre-Sales.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Proven experience in managing large-scale, complex software development projects.

- Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

- PMP or other relevant project management certifications (preferred)
