Role & responsibilities
As a Studio Lead Architect, responsibilities include managing and inspiring the design studio team while fostering a collaborative, innovative work environment and ensuring timely delivery of projects. You will lead task allocation, mentor team members, and oversee the development of schematic designs, construction documents, and presentation materials. Collaborating with senior architects, project managers, and stakeholders, youll refine design concepts, address all design-related challenges, and ensure alignment with client expectations. You will coordinate directly with HQ to understand their goals, present design proposals, and incorporate feedback effectively. Your role includes ensuring compliance with building codes, conducting quality checks, and maintaining the highest standards in all documentation. Additionally, youll resolve design issues, monitor construction progress, and advocate for sustainable design strategies and green practices while staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Preferred Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution, with at least 22 years of extensive experience in architectural design, project delivery, and team management. Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other architectural tools is essential, along with a strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction methodologies.
Key qualifications include expertise in producing 2D/3D drawings, renderings, and detailed documentation. Proven leadership skills are a must, with a demonstrated ability to manage design studios and lead teams toward achieving excellence. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities are critical, along with the capacity to meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in executing high-rise projects, including residential, IT/office, and hospitality sectors, is mandatory. The candidate must have a comprehensive understanding of the lifecycle of high-rise projects in India, from conception to execution. Knowledge of sustainable design practices or LEED accreditation is highly desirable. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development will further strengthen their profile.
