Accounts Associate

Role & responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and submit tax returns and other statutory filings. (GST, Income Tax, TDS, etc.)
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information
• Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
• Preparation of commercial invoices, packing lists, and other relevant documents.
• Maintain accurate records of using Tally ERP software.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Tally ERP and other financial analysis tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Previous experience with SAP is a bonus
