Involve in identifying new clients and prospecting by various means like existing relationship, networking, calling, setting up meetings, participating in trade events, seminars, webinars, etc Identify business opportunities, build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored ESG solutions. Provide day-to-day hands-on sales execution, including marketing requirements, negotiations and closure of deals. Manage pre-sales activities through preparation of marketing presentations, bid preparation, support with product pricing and realization of business plan targets. Carry and deliver a defined target of business revenue for ESG and Sustainability services. Maintain awareness of ESG compliance notifications, circulars and best and evolving practices. This profile will involve local, national and international travel (on need basis).
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITY
Develop and implement ESG and Net Zero strategies for clients across different industries, setting and operationalizing their ESG strategies, defining KPIs and frameworks for measuring and monitoring their impacts Stay aware of global ESG trends, regulations, and best practices Conduct ESG policy analyses and develop roadmaps and action plans to help improve sustainability practices of the clients Conduct ESG maturity assessments and due diligence for businesses, portfolios, and projects
Desired Skill & Qualifications
Masters in Environmental Science, MBA (Environment Management) or Masters degree or professional certifications in sustainability or ESG. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in ESG consulting or ESG application, with proven track record in business development (sales cum implementation management) Knowledge of implementing ESG practice (ESG reporting / ESG assessment / Materiality Assessment / Peer Benchmarking / Energy / Water / Emission Audit) across an organization, would be desired. In-depth understanding of global trends, agendas, ESG frameworks, standards, and regulatory environments Candidate should have good verbal, written communication, and client presentation skills Candidate should have good proficiency in MS-Word, MS-Power Point and MS-Excel software, should be able to make detailed project reports.
