AI Engineer

We are seeking a AI Engineer to lead the development, optimization, and deployment of Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Model (LLM) solutions with strong knowledge of Machine Learning and Deep Learning. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in fine-tuning, optimizing, and deploying AI models to drive innovation and enhance operational efficiency. This role requires technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful AI solutions. Experience in handling data in the form of text, speech, image, video, or live stream from IoT/ Sensors/ Web is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop AI/ML solutions for diverse domains, including healthcare, legal, gaming, and finance.

2. Develop and deploy Generative AI applications using LLMs (e.g., Claude, GPT-4o, LLaMA, DeepSeek, etc.)

3. Optimize AI pipelines for scalability and performance using PyTorch, TensorFlow, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, CoreWeave).

4. Oversee the full AI lifecycle: from data collection, model experimentation, fine-tuning, validation, and deployment to monitoring in production.

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing platforms.

6. Stay updated with emerging AI/ML trends, tools, and frameworks.

Skills Required:

Must Have:

• Strong proficiency in Python with hands-on experience in PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Pandas.
• Expertise in NLP frameworks (e.g., SpaCy, NLTK, HuggingFace Transformers) and LLMs (GPT-4o, LLaMA, Claude, etc.).
• Experience with audio processing tools (e.g., Torch Audio, Whisper) and audio classification models (AST).
• Proficiency in OCR frameworks (e.g., PaddleOCR, Tesseract) and image processing (OpenCV).
• Strong knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms (Random Forest, XGBoost, SVM, K-Means, Reinforcement Learning).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience in building scalable AI applications, RESTful APIs, and backend services.

Should Have:

• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, ChromaDB) and frameworks like LangChain.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, SQLite).
• Experience with Flask, FastAPI, Gunicorn, Nginx for deploying AI/ML pipelines.

Good to Have:

• Experience with model optimization techniques (quantization, pruning, knowledge distillation).
• Knowledge of search and retrieval systems (Elasticsearch, FAISS, ANN methods).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for NLP model deployment.
• Camera interfacing, Knowledge of Linux, Experience with edge devices (e.g. Jetson Nano/Orin)

Education:

• B.Tech/B.E. or M.Tech/M.E. in Computer Science, AI, ML, or related fields.
