Job Description
The Junior Store Assistant is responsible for assisting in the handling, storage, and inventory management of pipes, pipe fittings, flanges, nuts, bolts, gaskets, and related engineering items. This role ensures the efficient organization and accurate record-keeping of materials to support operational needs.
- Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing pipes, pipe fittings, flanges, nuts, bolts, gaskets, and other related items.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock levels as required.
- Organize and label items systematically to facilitate easy identification and retrieval.
- Support in issuing materials to departments or clients and preparing dispatch notes.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of items to prevent damage or deterioration.
- Basic knowledge of pipes, fittings, flanges, gaskets, and related materials.
- Familiarity with inventory management practices and tools.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle materials safely.
- Minimum qualification: 10th grade or diploma in engineering or related field (preferred).
