Job Description
Job Description:
As a JavaScript Developer at GS lab- GAVS, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining Microsoft Teams, Chrome and Outlook plugins. You will be responsible for implementing efficient, scalable code and ensuring a seamless integration with our continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Bamboo and Jenkins.
Key Responsibilities:
Plugin Development: Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft Teams, Chrome and Outlook plugins using JavaScript and relevant technologies.
Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Conduct code reviews and implement best practices in coding and testing.
CI/CD Integration: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Bamboo and Jenkins to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Bug Fixing Support: Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues related to plugins and CI/CD processes.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for code and processes.
Requirements:
Experience: Proven experience as a JavaScript Developer with a strong portfolio of Chrome and Outlook plugin development.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS.
Experience with Chrome Extensions API and Outlook Add-ins,Microsoft Teams plugin development.
Strong understanding of CI/CD tools and practices, specifically Bamboo and Jenkins.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
Knowledge of additional browser extension APIs and email client integrations.
Familiarity with Docker and containerization technologies.
