Assistant Manager -FICO (SAP S4Hana-Public Cloud)

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

SAP FICO Implementation & Support:

• Configure, customize, and maintain SAP FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, etc.) in S/4HANA Public Cloud.
• Provide end-to-end support for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud FICO implementations, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
• Manage system enhancements, upgrades, and troubleshooting of issues related to SAP FICO modules.
• Work closely with SAP Basis, ABAP, and other functional teams to ensure seamless integration across SAP modules.

Financial & Controlling Processes:

• Support financial closing activities (monthly, quarterly, and annual closing).
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with IFRS/GAAP standards.
• Optimize cost controlling and profitability analysis (CO-PA) to drive business decision-making.
• Implement taxation, bank accounting, and cash management functionalities as per organizational needs.

Business Process Optimization:

• Analyze current financial and controlling processes to recommend improvements.
• Drive automation of financial workflows using SAP Fiori apps and embedded analytics.
• Ensure seamless integration between SAP FICO and MM, SD, PP, and HR modules.
• Assist in data migration, master data governance, and system audits.

Stakeholder & User Collaboration:

• Work with finance teams, auditors, and business stakeholders to align SAP processes with organizational objectives.
• Conduct training and knowledge transfer sessions for end-users.
• Collaborate with external consultants and SAP support teams for issue resolution

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: Bachelor's/Masters degree in Finance, Accounting,
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in SAP FICO module, with at least 2 years in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
• Strong understanding of finance, accounting principles, and business processes in a corporate environment.
• Experience in SAP Activate methodology for implementation projects.
• Proficiency in Fiori apps, Universal Journal, and Central Finance (CFIN) is a plus.
• Knowledge of integration with SAP MM, SD, and other modules
