• Digital Library Management:
• Oversee and maintain the digital library platform, ensuring resources are current and accessible.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to digital platforms and collaborate with IT support when necessary.
• Assist in the integration of new digital tools and resources to enhance user experience.

• Library Operations:
• Manage day-to-day library functions, including cataloging, acquisitions, and circulation.
• Provide research assistance and guidance to students, faculty, and staff.
• Support the organization and execution of library programs, workshops, and events.

• Night Shift Duties:
• Ensure smooth operation of library services during night shifts.
• Monitor the library premises and digital systems, addressing any issues promptly.
• Maintain a secure and conducive environment for late-night users.

• Administrative and Collaborative Tasks:
• Maintain accurate records of library activities and resources.
• Collaborate with the library team to develop strategies for resource management and user engagement.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of digital library initiatives and projects.

Qualifications

• Academic Requirements:
• MLIS with a minimum of 60% marks.
• Ph.D. or clear the National Eligibility Test (NET).
• PG Diploma in Digital Library / PGDLAN.

• Skills and Experience:
• Proven knowledge and/or experience in digital library management.
• Familiarity with library management software and digital archiving systems.
• Excellent organizational, research, and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Flexibility to work night shifts and adapt to a dynamic work schedule.

Working Conditions
