Associate Technical Lead - Database Administration (7-12 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain database systems to ensure high performance, availability, and security.

- Conduct data analysis to support business decisions and optimize database performance.

- Develop and implement data models, schemas, and structures to support efficient data storage and retrieval.

- Optimize database performance by identifying and resolving any potential bottlenecks or issues.

- Understands large, complex sets of data that meet non-functional and functional business requirements.

- Builds data integrations for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various data sources using NoSQL and SQL technologies.

- Works with frontend, backend engineers, and product teams, assisting them with data-related technical issues.

- Quick Learner, trains team members on NoSQL database concepts and best practices.

Requirements :

- Prior experience in the HVAC domain is a plus.

- Strong knowledge and understanding of NoSQL database concepts (experience in Dynamo, Athena, and Timestream a plus) and architecture, with hands-on experience in designing and developing NoSQL database solutions.

- Experience with database optimization techniques to improve performance and scalability.

- Familiarity with data modeling and schema design in NoSQL databases.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify efficient database solutions.

- Deep understanding of NoSQL and relational databases and database fundamentals, including data storage, data modeling, and data access patterns.

- Knowledge of database security principles and best practices.

- Experience with data migration and integration processes between different database systems.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

- A bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent is required.

- 6-10 years of experience in NoSQL and SQL databases.

- In-depth knowledge of database management systems and SQL.

- Proven experience as a NoSQL/SQL Developer, Data Analyst, or in a similar role.

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
