Job Description :
- Continuously monitor application workflows, including job executions, data flows, and system connectivity.
- Utilize AWS CloudWatch for proactive monitoring and leverage AWS Push notifications for timely alerts.
- Implement and maintain robust monitoring dashboards to gain valuable insights into system performance and identify potential issues.
- Respond promptly to incidents, including job failures, data inconsistencies, and connectivity disruptions.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
- Effectively communicate with source systems and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues efficiently.
- Manage and maintain Airflow workflows, including scheduling, triggering, and monitoring job executions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Airflow DAGs, tasks, and dependencies.
- Optimize Airflow workflows for improved performance and efficiency.
- Utilize SQL and Spark to process and analyze data for troubleshooting and data quality checks.
- Leverage AWS Glue and Redshift for data transformation, loading, and querying.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the application lifecycle.
- Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and best practices.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal knowledge base articles.
- Share knowledge with team members and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Essential Skills:
- 2+ years of experience supporting and maintaining AWS-based applications.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data processing frameworks like Spark.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudWatch.
- Working knowledge of workflow orchestration tools like Airflow.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Desirable Skills :
- Experience with AWS Glue and Redshift.
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Bash.
- AWS certifications (i.e., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator)
