Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all customer account management matters.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
Business Growth:
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within existing accounts.
- Actively seek new sales opportunities and areas for business expansion.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profitability.
Project Management:
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer requirements and objectives.
- Juggle multiple account management projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Forecast and track key account metrics such as quarterly sales results and annual forecasts.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on account status and progress for internal and external stakeholders.
Collaboration & Coordination:
- Collaborate with internal teams (e. , sales, product, and support) to identify growth opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Assist with resolving challenging client requests or issue escalations promptly and effectively.
Strategic Communication:
- Clearly communicate monthly/quarterly initiatives, progress, and client feedback to stakeholders at all levels.
- Deliver presentations and proposals to key stakeholders, including C-level executives.
Key Requirements:
Experience:
- 5+ years of proven work experience in roles such as Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager, or similar positions.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (B. Tech preferred).
- MBA in Marketing or a relevant discipline is highly desirable.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient with CRM software such as Salesforce, Zoho CRM, or HubSpot.
- Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, dashboards).
- Familiarity with sales reporting and analytics tools.
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders, including executives and C-level decision-makers.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Client-Focused Solutions:
- Demonstrated experience delivering solutions that align with customer needs and objectives.
- Proven ability to balance multiple priorities and projects while maintaining a high level of detail and organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in technology or SaaS-based organizations.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in previous roles.
- Knowledge of account management strategies in a global or multi-industry environment
