We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Travel Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist clients in planning, organizing, and booking travel arrangements, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for travel.
The Role
Travel Planning and Booking :
Assist clients in planning their trips, including destinations, accommodations, transportation, and activities.
Provide information on travel requirements such as visas, passports, and health precautions.
Research and suggest travel packages or custom itineraries based on client preferences and budgets.
Customer Service :
Respond promptly to client inquiries via phone, email, or in person.
Handle complaints or concerns professionally and work to resolve them efficiently.
Offer travel advice and tips to enhance the customer experience.
Sales and Marketing :
Promote travel packages, deals, and special offers to potential and existing clients.
Upsell additional services such as travel insurance, car rentals, or guided tours.
Maintain relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
Administrative Tasks :
Process payments, issue tickets, and confirm bookings accurately.
Maintain records of client information, bookings, and travel preferences.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
Market Knowledge :
Stay updated on industry trends, travel advisories, and emerging destinations.
Build and maintain relationships with airlines, hotels, and tour operators.
Ideal Profile
You have at least 1 year experience within a B2C Sales role, ideally within the travel industry.
You possess excellent interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills.
You are a strong mentor and coach who can build high performing teams
