Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives, including revenue growth, profitability, and cash flow management.
- Financial Planning: Prepare and manage monthly/ quarterly and annual budgets, forecasts, and economic models to ensure accurate financial projections and decision-making.
- Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide stakeholders with a clear understanding of the company's economic performance.
- Investor Relations: Manage relationships with investors, providing regular updates on financial performance, and representing the company in investor meetings and presentations.
- Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial risks to protect the company's assets, ensure financial stability and create strong internal financial controls
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing finance team, providing mentorship and guidance and fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and industry-specific requirements.
- Mergers and Acquisitions: Evaluate potential merger and acquisition opportunities, conduct due diligence, and manage integration processes.
- Cost Control: Implement cost-saving measures and strategies to optimize resource allocation and improve profitability.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Audit: manage the annual audit of the company's financials end-to-end with appointed statutory auditors.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Finance and Accounting (CA is preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in finance, with at least five years in a leadership role within a healthcare startup or high-growth company.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Proven track record in managing financial operations for a fast-paced startup or high-growth company.
- Fundraising and Investor Relations: Experience in raising capital, with a focus on business valuation and aligning our financial roadmap with market opportunities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare industry trends and regulations.
