Position: DGM / GM - Human Resources
Location: Mumbai, India
The DGM/GM of HR will lead Flipspaces' HR strategy with a focus on Talent Acquisition. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in recruitment, workforce planning, and employer branding, and HR best practices. Additionally, the HR Head will oversee Administration, Operations, and IT, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and organizational efficiency.
Strong leadership is required to align HR initiatives with business objectives while fostering a culture of innovation and growth. The HR Head will oversee operations across India, the US, and other regions, ensuring compliance with local laws and adapting to new legal frameworks.

Key Responsibility Areas:
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Liaise directly with the executive board, providing strategic counsel on all people-related matters.
- Lead the HR function in alignment with organizational goals and the leadership vision.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on talent management and organizational growth.
- Demonstrate and role-model company values, culture, and initiatives.
- Develop and implement HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
- The Business Leader role is paramount to Flipspaces' success during the sharp growth phase it is currently in.
Talent Acquisition (Primary Focus):
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality hires across all levels.
- Design and execute innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent across diverse functions.
- Build and implement employer branding initiatives to position Flipspaces as an employer of choice.
- Collaborate with leadership and department heads to forecast hiring needs and define job requirements.
- Establish and monitor KPIs for talent acquisition, such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and quality-of-hire, ensuring continuous process optimization.
- Develop hiring strategies that prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion to build a representative workforce.
- Enhance candidate experience through best practices across the recruitment process, from application to seamless onboarding.
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of talent trends and maintain competitive salary benchmarks.
- Utilize data-driven insights to improve hiring processes and align them with strategic organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with HR teams to design onboarding programs that boost new hire integration and retention.
- Align talent acquisition strategies with long-term workforce planning to support organizational growth.
Employee Engagement and Development:
- Drive initiatives to enhance employee Happiness Quotient across all verticals.
- Design and execute employee engagement, training, and development programs.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to employees at all levels, ensuring continuous learning and development.
- Analyze employee feedback and data to create a better working environment.
