We are looking for a skilled and motivated Performance Marketing/PPC Expert to join our team and take charge of optimizing our paid marketing efforts.


Job Overview:

As a Performance Marketing/PPC Expert, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing paid digital advertising campaigns across various platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads, Meta Ads, and more). You will work closely with the marketing and sales teams to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer acquisition, revenue generation, and brand visibility in the competitive travel sector.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Strategy and Execution: Develop, manage, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across platforms like Google Ads, Meta Ads, Bing, and others, specifically tailored to the UK travel market.
  • Budget Management: Oversee campaign budgets, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI and minimize cost per acquisition (CPA).
  • Ad Creation and A/B Testing: Design compelling ad copy, landing pages, and creatives; run A/B tests to improve ad performance and user experience.
  • Performance Analysis: Continuously monitor campaign performance metrics (CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, etc.), providing actionable insights and recommendations to improve results.
  • SEO Integration: Work closely with the SEO team to align paid campaigns with organic search strategies for greater overall visibility and performance.
  • Market Research & Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in paid search, digital marketing, and the travel industry to ensure our campaigns remain innovative and effective.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Collaborate with the web development and design teams to improve landing page experiences and increase conversion rates.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Provide regular performance reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics, successes, and areas for improvement.
  • Customer Segmentation & Targeting: Use audience segmentation and targeting strategies to ensure campaigns are reaching the right audience with the right messaging.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven track record of managing and optimizing PPC campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads, Bing, etc.), ideally within the travel industry.
  • Knowledge of the UK Travel Market: A deep understanding of the UK travel sector, customer behavior, and competitive landscape.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, etc.) to track, measure, and analyze performance data.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Google Ads (Search, Display, Shopping, Remarketing), Bing Ads, and paid social channels.
  • Strong Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly convey ideas, strategies, and performance insights to stakeholders.
  • Creativity & Problem Solving: Ability to think creatively to solve challenges and continuously improve campaign performance.
  • Results-Driven: Demonstrated ability to drive growth through performance marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Team Player: Collaborative approach with cross-functional teams, including content, SEO, design, and sales teams.

Desired Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a PPC or Performance Marketing role, with a focus on the travel or hospitality industry.
  • Google Ads certification and/or other relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with retargeting, programmatic advertising, and display networks.
  • Knowledge of attribution models, customer journey mapping, and multi-channel marketing.
